SDC Sponsors Charity Event Benefitting Cure SMA
Cure SMA is a non-profit organization which funds research and awareness initiatives to cure Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), the number one genetic cause of death for infants. SDC is proud to support this organization by sponsoring the 3rd annual Byrds Fore A Cure Charity Golf Classic on May 7th at the Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club in Cave Creek, AZ. Proceeds from the event benefit the Arizona Chapter of Cure SMA.

SDC and Emergent Clinical Consulting signed a Strategic Alliance Agreement to expand their joint service offering in the medical device industry.

Team Lead, Data Management
Beverly Mersing has been a valued member of the SDC team since April 2010. She has 20 years of clinical data management experience and currently serves as Team Lead, Data Management.
Beverly's experience spans across a wide range of therapeutic areas including, but not limited to: ophthalmology, nephrology, oncology, analgesia, pain, cardiovascular, and medical devices. Within clinical data management, she specializes in identifying query trends, EDC system training, and providing guidance to clinical study personnel.
Prior to joining SDC, Beverly served as Associate Director, Clinical Data Management at Kendle International (now INC Research) in Thousand Oaks, CA. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University at Long Beach in Long Beach, CA and is an active member of the Society for Clinical Data Management (SCDM), Drug Information Association (DIA), and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO).
Beverly is a loving mother of three and a grandmother to one granddaughter.
