SDC Celebrates 10-Year Corporate Anniversary
In November 2005, SDC Founder & CEO Richard Abelson set out with a mission to provide expert biostatistics and clinical data management services to support clients in the development of novel therapeutic treatments.
Today, SDC has successfully supported over 200 clinical trials and collaborates alongside multiple strategic partners throughout the CRO industry.

Kirk Bateman, Director, Biostatistics at SDC, presented and participated in a panel symposium titled “Statistics: Past, Present and Future” at the Fall Chapter Meeting of the American Statistical Association (ASA) Arizona Chapter in Tempe, AZ on Thursday, October 29, 2015.

Senior Principal Biostatistician
Susan Potts has been a valued member of the SDC team since July 2013. She brings over 25 years of industry experience across a multitude of therapeutic areas including, but not limited to: ophthalmology, anti-infective, allergy, oncology, immunology, endocrinology, and neurology. She has supported over a dozen FDA product approvals and multiple corresponding global approvals throughout her career.
Prior to joining SDC, Susan served as Director, Biostatistics at Reata Pharmaceuticals and previously as Associate Director, Biostatistics at Endo Pharmaceuticals and at Alcon Laboratories. Susan holds a Master of Science in Biostatistics from the University of North Carolina as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Arlington.
